Job Description :
This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment, and that the individual is able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. and can maneuver large, cumbersome product and equipment. Most roles require standing for a full shift with breaks.The individual must have the ability to work in a manufacturing environment where temperatures can vary depending on the weather. A successful candidate must confirm their ability to perform work-related physical tasks by completing a physical abilities test.Core Responsibilities:* Ensures production lines and other equipment are maintained and able to run at all times* Assists in developing and prioritizing work orders with Maintenance Manager, Production Supervision and Line Leads.* Completes work order requests as defined by Maintenance Manager, Productions Management/Supervision, and/or Operators.* Supports workplace organization programs (6S) and production efficiency programs (TPM).* Assists, coaches, and trains operators in daily preventative maintenance (CIL) checks* Supports and assists preventative maintenance process on the shift* Contributes and assists in line commissioning after maintenance/process events* Assists and participates with other plant projects as needed* Operates in a manner that provides value to the team* Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/managementQualifications:* Experience: 0 plus years of experience in role of Maintenance Tech I* Computer Skills: Computer skills to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook* Proven experience in working unassisted with and troubleshooting: Electrical, Electronic, MotorController Drives, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems* Strong background in manufacturing systems in dynamic fast-paced manufacturing environment* Working knowledge of extrusion process, twin screw setup, blending system a plus* Knowledge of PLC Logic technology, a plus* Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings; Strong decision making, analytical skills andproven ability to work cross-functionally* Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities* Strong mathematical skills; Success in planning, executing and managing projects* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upward and downward to a wide range ofaudiences* Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7manufacturing environmentEducation Requirements:* High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)* Advanced education and/or related-certification(s), a plus* Certifications & Licenses:* Will meet qualification and certification requirements established by TimberTech s Training* Resources and Knowledge (TRAK) program* Completion of two year Maintenance Certification course* Stick and wire welding experience required with structural welding certification, a plus* Forklift experience required with the ability to complete TT Forklift Certification program
