Maintenance Technician II PositionMaster Meter is a leading manufacturer of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) products (water meters) for the water utility industry. Utilize proper skilled techniques to ensure the safe, efficient, and long-term operation of all plant machinery. Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of all necessary reports and paperwork including documenting work performed.Duties/Responsibilities:Follow assigned work requirements and schedules, to include repair and PM (Preventative Maintenance) needsMaintain / Repair or replace equipment, perform basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical and building repair work in production and office areasWork with hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical parts; responsible for greasing bearings, changing shafts, etc.Operate a forklift as required (certification will be provided)Identify necessary parts, tools, equipment, etc. for completion of assigned job and place requests to Facility Coordinator for missing items.Maintain organization of spare parts and supplies on the shelf for plant equipment and maintain/update parts inventory (quantity and value matches with the records) as necessaryDocument work performed into Computer Maintenance Management System.Support an environment of continuous improvement by making/implementing suggestionsMaintain close coordination with maintenance team and or production department to report equipment breakdowns and other production related opportunitiesThrough implementation and execution of company safety initiatives, create an environment where safety is a primary concern.Follow all rules and procedures to maintain compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulation that affect Master Meter operationsPerform other related duties as assignedEducation and Experience:Minimum of 3 years of maintenance work experience in an industrial environmentDisplay hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical aptitudePossess current/valid drivers licenseDisplay process driven mentalityDisplay ability to plan pro-actively and adhere to a scheduleBasic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel)Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent communicator - verbal and writtenEnjoys working with others and as part of a teamSelf-motivated and be able to move at the required pace without direct supervisionPositive can-do attitude and quick learner/hands onAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentAbility to interact professionally with all levels of employees, contractors and suppliersExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailPhysical Requirements:Must be able to routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 pounds and load/unload product from truck without assistanceMust be able to stand for extended periods of time on concrete floorMust be able to occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ pounds.Exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions which may include extremely hot/cold temperatures.An Equal Opportunity EmployerPowered by JazzHRPI30b6a22b8ef1-26289-#######2
