Our Mechanical Technicians will maintain our car wash facilities and equipment to keep them in pristine working order. They provide much of the behind-the-scenes work that goes into making sure our customers experience a clean, dry and spotless car. This position is for someone who likes to solve problems and keep everything operating efficiently and smoothly. Responsibilities: Previous plumbing, hydraulic, electrical and commercial building maintenance experience Working knowledge of single phase and three phase high voltage along with low voltage controls Completes preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems Follow diagrams, operations manuals, and manufacturer's instructions to troubleshoot malfunctions. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, using precision measuring and testing instruments. Removes defective parts by dismantling devices - using hoists and hand and power tools. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools. Controls downtime by informing workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Performs daily preventative maintenance inspections on existing facilities and uploads reports for review. Other duties as assigned General Requirements: Authorized to work in the U.S. and pass background check High school diploma or GED - Trade License Preferred Willing to work early mornings, evenings and weekends Intermediate Computer Skills which will include the ability to work with Microsoft Office products Self-motivated Mechanical aptitude or knowledge a plus On-call Shifts as needed Electrical and plumbing aptitude Reliable Transportation Required Physical Requirements: Able to lift at least 50lbs. Ability to be on your feet for at least 8 hours at a time. Mobility to work in areas that require kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
