No matter your role, you will be part of a team building the future of agriculture - leading breakthroughs in the innovation and application of science and technology that will better the lives of people all over the world and fuel the progress of humankind.We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Plymouth, Indiana production facility.What You'll Do:Support plant operationsDeliver maintenance support for capital projectsOrder parts or equipment to coincide with scheduled maintenance activities to ensure timely completionMaintain condition and order of the plant shop, maintenance tools, and site assets.Support Process Safety Management (PSM) and location safety programs.Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all equipment at the plantAssist in the development, installation, inspection, and maintenance of new or enhanced mechanical and/or electrical equipmentUtilize predictive maintenance tools and data/analytics to detect and remedy future machine failuresCreate, continually update, and train on preventative maintenance plans for various equipmentIdentify opportunities and complete fabrication projects to improve plant processes.Maintain detailed asset and equipment recordsOther duties as assignedQualificationsEducation:You have a high school diploma or equivalentWhat Skills You Need:You have three (3) years of industrial maintenance work experience or other related experienceYou have a valid US driver's licenseYou can read blueprints as well as piping and instrumentation diagramsWhen you see a problem, you look at it as an opportunity to find and implement a solutionYou enjoy working with people and have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsYou are comfortable with technology and possess good computer aptitude including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and are willing and able to learn other company-specific applications as requiredYou are experienced with metal fabrication, welding, grinding, use of plasma cutter and torchYou are willing and able to perform the following with or without reasonable accommodation: work in a variety of areas (field, plant, warehouse), climb and/or work in elevated areas of 25 feet+, stand and sit for extended periods, work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions, lift up to 50 lbs. and complete work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive liftingYou understand that delivering to our customers on time keeps us viable and are willing and able to work shift work and overtime hours, which can include nights and weekends during seasonal peaks to support production demandWhat Makes You Stand Out:Two-year or Associates Degree in Maintenance, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Electrical, or related fieldKnowledge of production agriculture and associated machineryBasic level of building electrical systems knowledge or electrician certificationKnowledge of security, materials handling equipment (i.e., conveyors, elevator legs, packaging equipment, etc.) or other mechanical/electrical systemsKnowledge of SAP Enterprise Asset Management module or equivalentMillwright skills, especially relevant to the seed industryTruck and forklift driving skillsKnowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic repair and test equipmentWork Authorization & Relocation:VISA Sponsorship is not available for this positionA relocation package is not offered for this positionSite Dedicated (100% at Corteva location):This role will be on-site at our Corteva locationBenefits - How We'll Support You:Numerous development opportunities offered to build your skillsBe part of a company with a higher purpose and contribute to making the world a better placeHealth benefits for you and your family on your first day of employmentFour weeks of paid time off and two weeks of well-being pay per year, plus paid holidaysExcellent parental leave which includes a minimum of 16 weeks for mother and fatherFuture planning with our competitive retirement savings plan and tuition reimbursement programLearn more about our total rewards package here - Corteva Benefits ( out life at Corteva! www.linkedin.com/company/corteva/life ( you a good match?
