  • High School diploma, equivalent (GED), or demonstrated proficiency through previous job experience and/or training in related performance responsibilities listed below
  • Be able to read and interpret basic instructions
  • The ability to lift at least seventy five (75) pounds is an essential job requirement
  • Capable of physical exertion to manually lift, push, pull, bend and carry heavy objects and materials
  • Capable of climbing ladders and doing above head work
  • Must submit and pass background check
  • HVAC Certifiation: Required to include possession of a Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification to legally handle refrigerants. General maintenance and repair to include working knowledge and experience with electrical, HVAC, and construction.

  • Ensures that quality of work is excellent
  • Report items to Director of Maintenance that are not compatible in performing tasks
  • Wears all safety paraphernalia while working
  • Keeps Director of Maintenance informed about condition of the buildings and grounds
  • Performs such yard keeping chores as grass cutting, tree trimming and the like, as necessary to maintain the school grounds in a safe and attractive condition
  • Moves furniture or equipment within buildings as required for various activities as directed by the principal and/or Director or Maintenance
  • Keep sidewalks and parking lots clear of snow and debris
  • Maintain confidential nature of all school-related matters
  • Other tasks assigned by the Superintendent or designee
  • EMPLOYMENT: Twelve months. Salary to be determined by the School Board. EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of support staff personnel.Attachment(s):
