Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. As Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper function and maintenance of our machinery, equipment, and facilities. Candidates must be hands-on, proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to quality will contribute to the success of the organization. Training, technical documents, and oversight are provided by NEACO management. Essential Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs and conduct regular inspections of machinery and other mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to shop equipment.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address equipment malfunctions and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts replaced and repairs performed.
  • Maintain cleanliness on all areas of the shop floor and machine shop.
  • Understand, follow and implement all safety related standards and practices.
  • Maintain and Service Material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.)
Experience and Skills
  • 2+ years of similar or related work experience.
  • Proven experience in maintaining and repairing machine equipment.
  • Expertise with a wide range of tools, equipment, and systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
  • Willingness to learn new skills and methods
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
  • Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus
  • Familiarity with aerospace materials (such as titanium, aluminum, and composites).
  • Knowledge of FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) regulations and industry standards is a plus.
Education
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Associates degree or higher in a related technical field preferred.
  • Trade schooling or related industry experience required.
  • Relevant technical certification or vocational training in machining or mechanical maintenance
Compensation
  • Hourly position commensurate with experience level and skill level and/or certifications. ($24-$28)
