Key Responsibilities:
- Meet safety, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction objectives in the plant.
- Conduct daily and weekly preventative maintenance (PM) tasks to ensure smooth equipment operation.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems to minimize downtime and boost operational efficiency.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
- Support the installation of new machinery as the facility continues to expand.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience: 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably within food, packaging, or other high-speed industries.
- Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, particularly focusing on electrical systems.
- Skill Set: Hands-on experience with PLC troubleshooting, VFDs, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, valves, belts, pulleys, gearboxes, conveyors, electrical wiring (120/240/480), AC/DC, control voltage, conduit installation, wire pulling, and 3-phase motors.
- Blueprints: Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
- Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, positive, energetic, punctual, and hardworking with a team-oriented attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry Knowledge: Experience within the food or beverage manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
- Education/Certifications: Associate degree or equivalent technical training in a relevant field, or related maintenance certifications.
- PLC Skills: Capable of troubleshooting and programming PLCs, with knowledge of ladder logic.
- Additional Skills: Experience with welding, pipefitting, boilers, or HVAC systems is a plus.
