Maintenance Technician - Multifamily Management : Job Details

Your duties and responsibilities:

• Handle turnover of empty units, including repairs (e.g., sheetrock, taping, sanding, painting, and fixing doors, windows, light fixtures, etc.)
• Use your basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing skills to respond to tenant maintenance requests
• Install tile and laminate flooring
• Assist in maintaining walkways and parking lot in the winter
• Take part in the on-call rotation schedule and respond to maintenance emergency calls
• Report all issues to management
• Other maintenance duties as assigned

• Have at least 2 years of experience in multi-family maintenance and have experience with public contact
• Have formal training or experience in the following areas electrical work, painting, refurbishing, and Authority's Maintenance Test

Job must-haves:

• Minimum high school education or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and current vehicle registration
• Possession of basic tools needed to perform routine maintenance tasks
• Physical aspects of the job may require heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, balancing, and carrying
• Demonstrate a neat and clean appearance and uphold maintenance standards
