MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - Baily International : Job Details

We are looking for an experienced industrial technician to join the Baily International team at our Waycross, GA location!The Maintenance Technician A role will use their vast training and experience in maintenance to focus on safety, quality, predictive and preventive maintenance requirements with regards to the building, infrastructure, equipment and utilities. Tools and maintenance area should be organized and maintained at a high level of cleanliness and follow procedures to perform specific duties and responsibilities. Attention to detail, observational skills, forklift operation, equipment operation, troubleshooting, installation, ammonia and safety along with organization skills and communication are crucial as you will work as a team to ensure the smooth daily operations of the plant.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform Building HVAC, plumbing, Electrical, PLC and mechanical repairs as necessary
• Utilize e-maintenance to manage equipment, PM Process, parts ordering and predictive maintenance and repair of the building and equipment.
• Implement preventative and predictive maintenance measure and procedures for equipment
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment, supplies and tools.
• Maintain the organization of the maintenance areas to be organized, clean and to meet all required food safety requirements.
• Complete inspection of facilities and equipment with Maintenance Manager and/or Maintenance Lead.
• Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.
• Proactively look to provide hygienic equipment design and implementation of ideas to eliminate waste, improve equipment uptime and safety
• Regularly clean and maintain tools in an organized Lean manner
• Perform other maintenance duties as requested
• Work closely with Maintenance Lead and other technicians to assist with implementation of special projects.

Required Education and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years working in a production environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Training and/or Certification in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing or other closely related field
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with PLCs
• Familiarity with e-Maintenance software program(s)
