The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and professional individual with a strong background in complex machinery. Someone who'll ensure compliance with conventional tool and equipment preservation policies with an extraordinary approach to solving potential issues in unconventional ways. Responsibilities: 1. Use electrical and mechanical prints, drawings, and schematics to aid with maintenance service instructions.2. May assist in the training of other employees3. Inspect newly acquired equipment and spare parts upon arrival4. Correct use of electronic instruments such as multimeters to measure current, impedance, and voltage.5. Safety first approach during manufacturing activities, keep equipment in check to avoid mechanical hazards 6. Teach colleagues how to operate equipment to avoid pressing mistakes that could trigger accidents7. Assist in the purchase and/or testing of new equipment, utilize your knowledge of machine operations in choosing durable, quality machines and make recommendations.8. Routinely service equipment, as part of measures to prevent breakdowns and malfunctions9. Evaluate your equipment and make any necessary upgrades to increase efficiency10. Working with AC/DC drives, high and low voltage controls, and systems operating at 110, 220, and 480 volts11. Communicate with management to help maintenance run at optimal performance 12. Performs other related duties and assignments as required13. Maintain a record of activities to track the lifespan of equipment. 14. Follow safety procedures and comply with electrical codes.15. Make decisions based on technical documentation.16. Work within 5S (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) methodology to maintain workplace to a high standard17. Assist with the moving, installation, repositioning of machines and equipment.18. Assisting our mechanical engineers with mechanical designs and maintenance tasks.19. Keep up with current and developing manufacturing and engineering trends regarding maintenance.20. Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems21. All extrusion, thermoforming, and auxiliary equipment used in the factory, must be diagnosed, troubleshot, and repaired/maintained. 22. Assist in performing other duties to keep the systems running when necessary. Required skills and competencies: 1. A two-year mechanical degree or four years of industrial maintenance experience are required.2. Knowledge of AC and DC drives, PLCs, servo motors, and encoders is required.3. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.4. Knowledge of mechanical maintenance process5. Experience in designing and implementing circuit diagrams. 6. 1 year with Fanuc robotics experience 7. Ability to communicate directions thoroughly with colleagues 8. General knowledge of mechanics (gears, bearings, pulleys, belt belts, etc.), pneumatics and hydraulics to solve high-speed equipment problems in a timely and efficient manner with minimal supervision. 9. Ability to safely operate shop tools such as cutting saws, drilling machines, table grinders, hydraulic presses, vertical band saws, arc welding machines, acetylene torches and a variety of other hand tools. 10. Pneumatics, blueprint/schematic reading (mechanical/electrical), welding, shop equipment operation, and fabrication understanding are all essential skills.Schedule Requirements: 1. Must be flexible to rotate from 2nd or 3rd shift with other Maintenance team members 2. Training schedule will be M-F 8a-5pm and will change to include one weekend day after training period, such as Sun-Thu or Tue-Sat 3. - Associates in Mechanical Engineering or similar degree, preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar role or industry.
- Extensive knowledge of designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Proficent in designs and diagnostic testing software.
- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and proglem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Great Organizational and time management abilties.
