Maintenance Technician - Tarkett : Job Details

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Diagnose, troubleshoot, test, install and repair electrical parts, equipment and systems. - Read and interpret work orders, safety rules, mechanical and electrical drawings, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. - Working knowledge of National Electrical Codes, OSHA and standard industry safety rules/regulations. - Perform prescribed Preventative Maintenance. - Maintain accurate and complete records, document all work performed appropriately. - Assist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory by reporting low supply levels to Supervisor. - Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes. - Adhere to good housekeeping practices. REQUIREMENTS (including educational requirements) - Ability to read and understand blue prints, schematics, and work instructions - Understanding failure mechanisms, ability to isolate determine root cause and repair. - Problem-solving skills - Team oriented and detailed oriented - Minimum two years' of relevant experience and or/ training that includes installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems equipment, HVAC maintenance, or any equivalent skills, and abilities for this position is preferred. - Must be open to working off-shift - Ability to pass standardized electrical test - Ability to pass pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen - High School Diploma or equivalent required What We Offer
