Mechanical Technicians are responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and overhaul of mechanical systems used in the production at Ipex.Key ResponsibilitiesSafety First! Must maintain a safe and clean work environment through training, adherence to policies and housekeepingCheck equipment and operating systems for accuracy and efficiency wherever vitalEnsure mechanical operations, standards and controls are maintained at the highest qualityResolve motor, pump, electrical, and hydraulic issuesShow expertise in working with team and independentlyRepair and perform preventive maintenance as per established standardsUse hand tools like power tools and rigging equipment dailyHandle minor and sophisticated heavy industrial equipment like saws, pullers and bellersAlign with company and customer regulations and policiesBring and maintain tools for the jobWork all shifts flexibly when job demandsWork independently to complete the job safely and effectivelyMinimum 18 years of ageOther duties as assignedRequirementsJob Requirements:KNOWLEDGE•Mechanical - Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
