Job description
Position Name: Automation Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift
Location: Manor, Texas
Responsibilities:
- Execute assigned predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance activities
- Ensure proper functioning of production lines.
- Compliance with 5S principles
- Execute assigned facility maintenance orders
- Apply and comply with quality policy and objectives.
- Preparation of LPA's.
- Participation in problem-solving (safety, quality, and maintenance).
- Perform general cleaning of all maintenance areas to maintain and comply with 5S.
- Modify equipment to support: Safety needs, Quality needs or Efficiency needs.
- Keep accurate records of work performed & downtime of each machine.
- Communication with the maintenance team to ensure proper processes are being followed.
- Assist in the troubleshooting and programming PLC's.
- Perform facility related maintenance in general carpentry, plumbing, painting and electrical.
- Involvement in new projects involving modification or installation of new equipment or machines for production.
- Perform all duties in a safe and environmental manner.
- Coordinate and follow up on work carried out by suppliers within MX3 facilities.
- Monitoring and use of documents: MX3-1-1216, MX3-1-197, MX3-1-198, MX3-1-202, MX3-1-203, and MX3-I-188
- Other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrate leadership with activities that affect performance in relation to the quality, environmental, energy, and safety system
- Ensuring compliance to and participate in IATF 16949 and CSR (Customer Specific Requirements) compliance & ISO 14001 certification
- Supporting the launch of ISO 45001 and ISO 50001
Profile Required:
- High School Diploma
- Technical Trade School with 442A
- License or equivalent
- PLC Experience: Read and Program
- Robotic Programming knowledge
- Pneumatic / Hydraulics
- Electrical experience
