MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - MVI Field Services : Job Details

DescriptionPay Rate: $21.00 per hourFull Time (40 hours weekly)Shift: 1pm-10pm Tues-Thurs / Fri 10am-7pm / Sat 7am -4pmQualifications: Must be able to perform manual labor Must have the ability to stand for long durations of time (multiple hours) without sitting down Must be able to lift 60 lbs. on a frequent basis Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record Must be able to drive a company vehicle Equipment inspection, troubleshooting, and repair experience Mechanically inclined Demonstrate the ability to competently use basic tools, hardware and power tools Ability to work as a contributing team member Ability to exercise independent judgment and ask for help when needed. Ability to establish and maintain solid working relationships with other MVI teammates and customers (Airport and Rental Car Agencies) Good communication and organizational skillsDuties and Key Responsibilities: Perform inspections as assigned by the Facility Manager or Management Team Responsible for all equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs Responsible for dispatching vendors for major repairs Responsible for maintaining inventory and parts Assist the management team with a variety of projects based on facility needs including, but not limited to, the following: Pressure Washing:] Painting-clean and prepare different areas of the facility for painting, use different paints and stains to complete projects HVAC maintenance-filter cleaning and replacement Electrical Projects-light bulb replacement Plumbing-perform inspections, repairs, preventative maintenance, and projects - toilet, urinal, faucet fixtures, water fountains, eyewash stations Scissor Lift-operate the scissor lift to complete a variety of projects requiring work to be done at different heights High dusting and cleaning-including light fixtures, high cross beams, and corners Spill Buckets-weekly cleaning of the Fuel Drop Remote Fill Spill Buckets, completion of the Monthly Spill Bucket Inspections, where applicable Used Spill Kit Container-perform inspection of the four yellow containers and empty them into the larger containers behind the trash compactors, where applicable Spill Cabinets-perform weekly stocking of the spill cabinet's spill/absorbents, where applicable Car Wash-assist when required by the Car Wash Manager- become familiar with the general operation and maintenance of the car wash system Vacuum Turbines and System-responsible for cleaning the vacuum knockouts and separators, train with the Car Wash Manager on the workings/components, function of the systems Fuel System-replace dispenser hanging hardware parts, respond to emergencies, dispatch petroleum equipment Gain an understanding of how the components and processes work, and make necessary repairs to equipment Expansion Joint Maintenance-properly clean and maintain the expansion joints throughout the facility and the equipment used to perform those tasks Concrete Maintenance and Crack Chasing-perform concrete inspections and advise on repairs needed Caulking-assist management with facility caulking projects Ceiling Tile Replacement-replace office space and break room ceiling tiles, as needed Gates and Doors-perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs of gates, office doors, and car wash doors Utility and Transportation Vehicles: gain a working knowledge of MVI utility vehicles, golf carts, and transportation vehicles, perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs to the vehicles, where applicable Rental Car Agency space common requests and repairs Perform other tasks as directed by the management team to assist in the overall operation of the CONRAC facilityThis description does not encompass all the duties of the position.
