**Job Title: Equipment Specialist**

**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Specialist to join our team at a brand new 125,000 square foot facility in Lansing, MI. The Equipment Specialist will be responsible for supervising 4 Maintenance Technicians and ensuring the operational efficiency of assembly equipment. This role is hands-on, requiring 80% of the time on the plant floor and 20% in the office. Responsibilities include manpower allocation, scheduling, monitoring PM completion, and addressing special projects. The primary focus will be on troubleshooting PLCs and Fanuc robotics.

**Work Site**

This is a fully on-site position in Hazel Park, Michigan.

**Work Environment**

The facility is new and still in the process of being built, promising a clean and automated work environment. The culture is evolving, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and a family feel. The maintenance team will consist of 16 employees, including 1 Maintenance Manager, 3 Equipment Specialists, and 12 Maintenance Technicians. Standard plant attire, including steel toes and safety glasses, is required. The operation will run on three shifts from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays if needed. Shift hours are as follows: 1st shift - 7:00am-3:00pm, 2nd shift - 3:00pm-11:00pm, and 3rd shift - 11:00pm-7:00am.
