We are looking for Maintenance Technicians to join the Kaiser Aluminum team in Newark Ohio just east of Columbus!

Kaiser Aluminum (NASDAQ:KALU) is a leading producer of fabricated aluminum products for aerospace/high strength, general engineering, automotive and custom industrial applications.

SIGN ON BONUS! $2,500 will be paid after 6 months of employment, $2,500 will be paid after one year of employment.

  • Full time, direct hire position.
  • Represented by the United Steelworkers.
  • Three (3) and four (4) day working week (twelve (12) hour days).
  • 7PM to 7AM, fixed schedule, only required to work fifteen (15) days a month!
  • Overtime opportunities at time and one half.

  • Starting wage of $34.10 per hour, plus Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) which is currently over $3.00 per hour!
  • Monthly incentive bonus, based on plant performance.
  • Perfect Attendance Program. Starting at $325 after six (6) months of service and increasing by $75 every six (6) months if perfect attendance continues up to a max of $1000 at sixty (60) months.
  • Company supplied uniforms.

What you will bring to the position:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Journeyman status in skilled trades discipline (preferred by not required).
  • Associates degree, or Certification in Electrical or Mechanical technology with three (3) years manufacturing Maintenance Technician (5 years preferred) or Control Programming experience.
  • Multi-trade with industrial electrical experience.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment and on problem solving activities.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work all shifts.
