* Perform plant preventative maintenance and repairs.

* Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.

* Repairs machinery and equipment using the appropriate methods, replacement of parts, trouble shooting and diagnosing electrical, electronic, controls, hydraulic/mechanical systems.

* Perform a preventive maintenance on equipment that will minimize service repairs.

* Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment, parts and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.

* Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.

* Responding quickly to any emergencies.

* Adheres to and promotes all safety guidelines and company standards.

* Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.

* Assist operation in training operators in the operation of new equipment.

* Provide recommendation of purchasing of new parts and maintenance equipment.

* Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations; uses pressure wash machines, sweeping, cleaning up debris, arranging work areas, gathering tools, returning and restocking tools in their proper storage area; maintaining hand tools, power tools, welders and portable saws.

* Documents all repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections.

* Journeyman or Master Electrician preferred

* Advanced knowledge of PLC programming, Automation control troubleshooting, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical (high and low voltage), Electronic control systems, Welding, Cutting, Fabrication and General Mechanics

* Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics, identify and resolve input and output functions of logic controls

* Ability to use all tools and required equipment.
