About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support plant operations in Levelland, TX. In this essential role, youll be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventative Maintenance: Maintain and service equipment, including centrifuges, conveyors, hammermills, pumps, gearboxes, and valves. Perform minor electrical repairs and general upkeep to prevent downtime.
  • Equipment Repairs: Diagnose and resolve malfunctions such as leaks, unusual noises, or vibrations. Conduct welding, cutting, and fabrication as needed.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and actively participate in regular safety meetings. Review and follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the plant and on surrounding grounds.
  • Inventory Management: Track maintenance inventory to ensure readiness and operational efficiency.
  • Special Projects: Assist in scheduled shutdown maintenance, equipment installations, and upgrades as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial plant setting.
  • Proficiency with heavy machinery, including telehandlers, forklifts, and skid steers.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic plumbing skills.
  • Physical capability to climb stairs, work at heights up to 200 feet, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work with caustic chemicals, confined spaces, and varying temperatures.
  • Must wear respirator protection as needed and follow safety protocols.
