Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift
Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Pay Starts at $28/hr. and can go up based upon experience!

Job Overview:
Facilities Maintenance Technician is in charge of performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment. Their duties include fixing machinery, plumbing, heating, wiring, inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards, and identifying, planning, and scheduling major repairs.
Responsibilities:
* Follows all safety rules gulations
* Performs general facility & machine maintenance
* Maintains building systems and keeps the site in good working order
* Keeps hand tools, power tools, the maintenance shop, and supplies organized & clean
* Minor patching, painting, and electrical work throughout the facility
* Maintains accurate records of performed maintenance tasks
* Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
* Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems.
* Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician.
* Physically capable of lifting 40 pounds.
* Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods.
* Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including hand tools, power tools, snow blowers, etc
* Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
Core Competencies:
* GED or High School Diploma required
* 3-5 years related experience (Internal or External relevant job experience).
* Familiarity with facilities maintenance operations
Preferences:
* Associate's Degree preferred
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
This position will be based onsite / in-person
