#x 9; Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices. Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or testing devices. Troubleshoot, analyze test results, machine error messages or information from operator to diagnose equipment problems. Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, or tools. Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs or straightedges. Study blueprints or manufacturers manuals to determine correct installation or operation of machinery. Safely operate an overhead crane. Plan and layout repair work using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals or schematic diagrams.
