Peoplelink Staffing is in partnership with a prominent client in Peru, IL within the automotive manufacturing industry. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician, requiring the ability to apply professional knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applying skills in restoring equipment operations. Cold Forming Operator Job Details:
- 1st shift position : 6AM-2:30PM
- Starting at $25 /hour
- Typically, a Monday to Friday position does require overtime as needed based on production needs.
- Perform moderately difficult maintenance and repair work using skills and knowledge from both the electrical and mechanical craft trades.
- Must have the ability to read and understand blueprints, manufacturer's manuals, electrical schematics, or similar documents
- Must have good mechanical aptitude
- Must Have the ability to determine methods and materials to be used in completing assignments; making standard shop calculations; prioritizing requests; and responding to emergencies
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate both on the phone and in person with employees and vendors.
Cold Forming Operator Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of education or experience in general maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatic, PLC experience, electrical experience in 480 / 208 V., and 3 phase motor control circuits.
- Preferred 5 years' experience as a maintenance technician
- Have basic knowledge of the National Electrical Code and electrical (NEC) safety
- Ability to Climb stairs/ ladders, lift and or move up to 70lbs
- Good attendance is a must!
