New Psalmist Baptist Church is actively seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring that our church remains a safe, clean, and inviting environment for worship, fellowship, and community activities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and sanitation of church facilities and surrounding grounds.

* Execute tasks including plumbing, electrical maintenance, painting, and general upkeep of premises.

* Oversee the maintenance of outdoor areas, incorporating landscaping, lawn care, and the removal of snow and ice.

* Facilitate the setup and dismantling of spaces for worship services, events, and activities.

* Identify and promptly address facility-related issues in an effective manner.

What We are Looking For:

* At least a high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in facility maintenance, building repair, or custodial work.

* Ability to lift, move, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).

* Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and repair techniques.

* Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

* A team player who is comfortable working in a faith-based environment.

Salary Range: $37,000 to $53,000 annually, based on level of experience.
