The Opportunity:This position is for a Maintenance Technician depending on experience. This is an hourly position that does not involve direct management of people. In this role, you will report to the Maintenance Manager. Your focus will be to perform maintenance functions for the plant.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Safety, Quality, and EMS
  • Follow standardized work instructions
  • Fully participate in and support the Corvac Quality System
  • Fully participate in and support the Corvac EMS System
  • Perform preventative maintenance functions.
  • Set up tooling to meet the process requirements as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment in a safe and timely manner, including automation and robotics equipment.
  • Perform welding, cutting operations in a safe manner as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic issues as needed.
  • Diagnose & direct replacement of certain electrical repairs.
  • Record all Preventive Maintenance and complete Work Orders.
  • Participate in training and development as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.
BACKGROUND REQUIRED:
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • High school diploma/GED preferred
  • 2+ years of Manufacturing Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience and related coursework
  • Computer Skills/Tech Savvy
  • Must have reading, writing, communication, and math skills
  • Mechanical and electrical skills required
  • Technical High School or Vocational School plus specialized coursework
SPECIAL SKILLS:
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist for up to 12-hour shift
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously
  • Standard knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Standard knowledge of tools and tool inventory management
  • Allen Bradley PLC experience
  • Ability to train associates of lesser skills
  • Read hydraulic and pneumatic prints & electric schematics
  • Forklift license / Certification
  • Problem-solving knowledge and ability
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles
