Maintenance Technician - Confidential : Job Details

*Company information will be shared with qualified applicants. Company is an established well-known brand with multiple sites. This Maintenance Technician will be on a team of about 10 working on the site located in Brooksville, FL.

*This position is for Night Shift - 5 PM to 5 AM. Schedule will typically be Tuesday through Saturday OR Sunday through Thursday. Position frequently gets overtime.

The primary function of the Maintenance Technician is to maintain facilities, mobile equipment, manufacturing equipment, and support equipment. Tasks must be completed safely, professionally, and promptly. Coordination with the Plant Manager and Supervisors is required when impacting the production process. No job is considered complete until the work area is cleaned, tools are returned to their proper storage, area guards are reinstated, and all required documentation is completed. The technician must have operational knowledge of all plant equipment and be willing to perform duties beyond their regular day-to-day functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Troubleshooting, Repairs, and Fabrication:

• Diagnose malfunctioning electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment to a component level using testing equipment and hand tools.
• Perform necessary repairs on malfunctioning equipment using hand and power tools.
• Fabricate items as needed using appropriate tools, materials, and equipment.

Safety and Housekeeping:

• Adhere to company's safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Ensure the shop area is clean and organized before each shift change.
• Cleanup work areas after completing repairs, ensuring they are free of tools, parts, supplies, and debris.

Maintenance Connection:

• Create corrective work orders as necessary.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks following procedures attached to work orders. Document any problems found and create follow-up work orders as needed.
• Properly complete all work order documentation daily, ensuring all labor, parts, and problem fields are populated as required.
• Maintain accuracy in stockroom inventory.
• Assist in monthly stockroom counts.
