If you're looking for a job at a fast-growing company that really values its employees, reach out to us today!Responsibilities•Perform basic maintenance and service for plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, appliance, and mechanical repairs in residential apartment units•Promptly answer resident service calls and perform repairs in a timely fashion•Interact politely and professionally with apartment tenants, outside vendors/contractors, and coworkers•Complete all assigned maintenance work on vacant apartments for unit turns and make ready activities•Perform various preventative maintenance measures•Respond to on-call/after-hour emergency maintenance requests/work orders•Maintain community grounds•Paint units•Clean carpets•Establish and implement preventative maintenance protocols to keep equipment operations smooth and eliminate safety risks•Examine building windows, walls, and doors for damage and perform repairs when needed•Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any repairs•Record when any equipment was serviced and repairs were made•Take additional maintenance requests as assignedQualifications•Ability to easily get to and from work•Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle•Proficient in using email, text, and phone communications•Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends•Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems•At least 2 years of maintenance experience•Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail•High school diploma/GED or equivalent
