Job Description:

AppleOne Staffing is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of building systems and equipment, ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance tasks, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on various building systems and equipment to reduce downtime.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and clients, prioritizing repairs and service needs.
• Assist in the installation, repair, and replacement of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC components.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment conditions, and repairs.
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are organized and in good working condition.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs or installations are required.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while performing tasks.
• Perform emergency repairs and respond to urgent maintenance issues as needed.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including organizing storage areas and disposing of waste properly.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in general building maintenance, repair, or facilities management.
• Proficient in using maintenance tools and equipment.
• Solid understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as required.
• Flexible availability, including the ability to work evenings or weekends if necessary.
