Maintenance Technician - State of Georiga : Job Details

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing skilled and semi-skilled work associated with the maintenance and repair of the college's facilities and grounds. Essential Functions - Participates in the repair and maintenance of college equipment and vehicles using a variety of tools, materials, and equipment while maintaining required records, logs, and electronic work order system. (55%) - Installs, maintains or repairs electrical and plumbing systems with associated hardware. (20%) - Participates in grounds maintenance activities, including installing and maintaining landscaping, applying herbicides and pesticides, and maintaining parking lots. (5%) - Maintains fire alarms, sprinkler, and security systems. (5%) - Assists with carpentry and renovation projects as assigned. (5%) - Responds to emergency requests for repairs. (5%) - Other duties as assigned.
