POSITION SUMMARY:

Are you a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who'd love a career in maintaining a wide range of residential properties?

We're looking for a reliable and thorough Full-Time Property Management Maintenance Technician to add to our team of professionals.

What does this role involve?

In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance and essential repairs, from fixing garbage disposals and unclogging drains to replacing toilets and ceiling fans, to working on home entertainment systems and WiFi. You'll troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues as well as assist in deciding when to call in third-party technicians.

Collaborating closely with our Property Managers, your mission will be to deliver outstanding maintenance services to NBVP's owners and guests while ensuring minimal disruption to their stay. Your commitment, diligence, and positive attitude will help us uphold our properties' highest quality and safety standards, guaranteeing that our guests enjoy a hassle-free experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct routine inspections of properties, identify maintenance needs and perform general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and resolve issues efficiently and professionally. Assume emergency on-call duty and special projects when assigned.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Communicate any issues clearly with both the guest and the property management team.
• Collaborate with the property management team to coordinate maintenance schedules.
• Assist with check-in and check-out inspections to assess property conditions.
• Ensure company van tools and equipment are in good working order.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in property maintenance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team with flexible availability
• Excellent communication skills to effectively report maintenance and repair issues to guests and the maintenance team while maintaining a positive, customer-oriented attitude.
• Confident in using a mobile device and a computer to document, take photos, and report issues.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
• Reach overhead and below the waist
• Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
• Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Wage: $25- 35 per hour based on experience and achievement

Schedule:

• Weekday flex hours between 9 am-6 pm
