Maintenance Technician - PLASTIC MANUFACTURER : Job Details

Maintenance TechnicianFULL-TIME

$27/hr, plus $1250 new hire bonus, see details below

- Ensures production equipment operates efficiently by performing equipment maintenance on all production, facility and utility equipment.- Seeking a self-motivated, experienced and dedicated individual.- Must comply with all safety rules and procedures.- Maintain and complete all required records. Individual must be available to work overtime as needed.- Perform other duties as required, or assigned by Supervisor.- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems on industrial equipment (including extruders).- Perform routine preventative maintenance.- Mechanical tasks: troubleshoot and repair gear boxes. Troubleshoot and replace bearings, chains, belts, and pulleys. Preferred by not required--MIG weld, stick weld, drill and tap threaded holes. Read mechanical prints.- Electrical tasks: troubleshoot and replace AC and DC drives, temperature controls, start/stop electrical controls, troubleshoot PLCs, replace and wire 3-phase motors, troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits. Read electrical, building, machine and flow diagram prints.

Shift start: 8:00PMShift length: 10 hoursweds-sat 8am-6pm for training, full time job will be 8pm-6am weds-sat

Qualifications

• Must pass drug screen (cannabis excluded)
• Must pass background check
• Can lift 50 lbs
• Must be at least 22+ years old

Experience in industrial maintenance role preferred.Basic plumbing skills.Knowledge of fittings and thread types.$1250 new hire incentive

This bonus will be paid out in 3 separate installments ( 3 months, 9 months and 1 year )
