Maintenance Technician l Job Type : Permanent City : Carson City State : NV Job Description:TITLE: Maintenance Technician LOCATION: Carson City, NVEMPLOYMENT TYPE: Direct HirePAY RANGE: $43,000-$50,000 DOE HOURS: Day or swing *Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. BENEFITS: Health insurance, life insurance, dental, PTO, sick leave, paid holidays, 401k + matching, tuition assistance ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES: We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for an established and thriving aerospace manufacturer. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience as a technician in mechanical, PLC, or robotics work looking to advance their career.

• Troubleshoot, service, and maintain facilities, grounds, and equipment
• Write work progress updates, procedures, work instructions, records, and logs
• Perform continuity and certification tests on a variety of products and hardware
• Perform maintenance on equipment or facilities, clean and replace components such as filters and oil
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and vehicles
• Troubleshoot, repair, and install typical industrial electrical systems and components
• Use shop equipment and measurement tools to fabricate or repair various types of parts
• Work on motors, electronic controllers, and circuit boards to troubleshoot, repair, and install electronic components and systems

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 + years of experience in at least one of the above functions (maintenance, mechanic, electronic technician, machinist, plumbing, or fabrication background)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
• Ability to read and follow OSHA regulations and other safety standards, work instructions, blueprints, and schematics

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:

• Vocational classes in machining, machine repair, or HVAC
• Completion of an apprenticeship or journeyman status preferred
• Industry certifications such as Manufacturing Technician (MT1), Manufacturing Skill Standards Council
