Job Description :
Primary Duties* Effectively troubleshoot & repair equipment and adhere to maintenance documentation requirements* Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.* Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment.* Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.* Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.* Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices.* Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.* Must be able to frequently lift 50lbs.* Record repairs and maintenance performed.* Cut and weld metal to repair broken parts, fabricate new parts, and assemble new equipment.Requirements5+ years' experience working in maintenance field in a manufacturing environmentExperience servicing flexographic printing presses and blown film extruders is a plus.Ability to work overtime as neededExperience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment under maintenance requiredHVAC experience preferredMust be able to read a multimeterBasic knowledge of motor control circuits and VFDSBasic knowledge pneumatic and hydraulic controlsBasic computer skillsAbility to stand constantly, excellent hand-eye coordination skills, strong mechanical skills and the ability to lift and load weights up to 50 poundsEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
