This organization includes materials scientists, packaging designers, mechanical engineers, and manufacturing experts who use science and technology to drive innovation.This organization is looking for Maintenance Technicians to join their team in Mebane or Raleigh North Carolina. These are both state-of-the-art facilities with air conditioning and very clean working environments. The company has long history of hiring veterans. They are looking for Maintenance Technicians to perform preventative maintenance on production equipment. Both sites make packaging for a variety of everyday products.Essential job functions:- Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance of manufacturing equipment (such as printing presses, folding machines, and so on)- Repair and maintain facility systems - Use rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments accurately- Troubleshoot electric and electronic problems- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components including bindery equipment (folder roller changes, transport belts, bearings, drive motors) and presses- Troubleshoot and repairs PLCs- Troubleshoot motors, pumps, compressors and any other systems in the plant- Check new and refurbished parts for the proper specs- Perform preventative maintenance- Perform machine modifications to improve production as neededBase salary, $65 - $85K, plus overtime, profit sharing bonus, benefits and a 401kThe company will train candidates in all aspects. They are mainly looking for strong electrical and electronic types who have some base mechanical knowledge. Training will be OJT shadowing other Techs.
