Maintenance Technician (Part - Time) - Horizon Develop Build Manage : Job Details

Our Maintenance Technicians are critical to the safe, well-running and attractiveness of our properties. This part time position is assigned to Brookside I and II apartments in Davenport, IA. The position will be about 12-16 hours per week. The position will have on-call responsibilities for emergencies.

• Primary Responsibilities:
• Corrective Maintenance by completing work requests
• Assist with apartment make-ready such as painting, cleaning, replace/replace appliances, plumbing/electrical as able, vendor management, drywall repairs, etc.
• Assist with snow removal as needed
• Preventative Maintenance
• Emergency maintenance
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment and supplies
• Establish and maintain good relations with residents, prospective residents, vendors and co-workers.
• Assist outside contractors when services are required
• Picks up trash on property by assisting others in maintaining cleanliness and safety of the property

Education, work experience, licenses and certifications:Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalentExperience: Minimum three (3) years fulltime maintenance experienceLicenses: A valid driver's license and current automobile insurance is required.
