Job Description Summary:This position works alongside the Maintenance Team under the supervision of the Director of Facilities. This position will assist with preventative and corrective maintenance of the facilities, machinery, and programmatic assets in the region as well as overseeing areas related high-risk activities including the pool and ropes course. This position requires a working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical skills. This position will require the use of a wide variety of tools and equipment to fulfill duties, and will also be expected to perform duties with utmost safety while completing assigned work orders effectively and efficiently. Job Description:Job Responsibilities - Process and follow up with work orders through the maintenance assistance program software
- Responsible for oversight of all High-Risk areas (excluding waterfront and horses)
- Assists with annual preventative maintenance of facilities
- Equipment and facility maintenance and scheduled plan for improvement
- Oversees proper stewarding of fleet, equipment, tools, and materials
- Participate in the On Call rotation with the maintenance team
- Responsible for other tasks as directed
Job Qualifications - Agrees with and exhibits behaviors in accordance with the Pine Cove Statement of Faith
- Maintain compliance with all Pine Cove policies and procedures during employment including the Staff Policy Handbook
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal laws
- Must establish and maintain professional working relationships with employees, managers, and external constituents, including demonstrating consistent Speed of Trust behaviors
- Is self-motivated with a desire to serve and do all things with excellence
- Adjusts to changes in environment or schedule while maintaining a joyful attitude
- Possess current driver's license and able to drive company vehicles as needed
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in hardware, machinery, and/or construction preferred
- Basic knowledge of at least 2-3 trades including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, painting, or welding preferred
- Ability to follow through on assignments and attention to detail
