Starting pay is $33.54hr., with a Maintenance Progression Plan that provides for increasing wages up to $39.25/hr., based on knowledge/skill demonstration and performance reviews.These are full-time positions with available shift options:Nights from 6:00pm-6:00am, alternating two-week schedule that has 3 workdays one week and 4 workdays the next, resulting in two 3-day weekends every month and plenty of time off during the week.Health, Dental, Vision Insurance (Broad Portfolio of Insurance Options, Deductibles and Copays Including Health Savings Account)Company-paid Life and Disability Insurance, as well as employee elected supplemental401(k) with company matchingPension - Company fundedPaid VacationMaintenance Progression Plan - pay for skill programPaid maternity/paternity leaveEmployee appreciation eventsQuarterly Performance Incentive PlanResponsibilitiesMaintain Automated Industrial Equipment in a high-speed canning facility.Make minor repairs on general plant machinery such as fans, blowers, conveyors, belts, mechanical and screw conveyors.Work with the Engineering Department on new installations and machine improvements.Work with the Production Team to improve the efficiency of the machines and processes.Apply basic electrical and electronic principles in the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of plant systems.Utilization of computerized maintenance software and programs to maximize efficiency and data collection/analysis.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED1+ year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment OR a technical degree/certification completedREQUISITION ID322074It is our business imperative to remain a very inclusive workplace.
