Maintenance Technician - Weekend Shift - Federal Signal Corporation : Job Details

Maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing or replacing faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment, including robot General upkeep and maintenance of entire facility Diagnosing and repairing or replacing faulty electronic and electrical components such as relays, switches, motors, position sensing devices, circuit boards, etc. Diagnosing malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replacing damaged or broken wires or cables Working with others to test, troubleshoot, and diagnose malfunctions on electrical and mechanical equipment and machines and test operation following repair Maintaining and completing routine maintenance schedules on equipment Repairing broken parts including setting up and operating metalworking tools such as lathe, drill press, or grinder Replacing electric motor bearings and rewiring motors Understanding and following Lockout/ Tag out procedures Assisting a certified contractor with planning a...Maintenance Technician, Technician, Maintenance, Equipment Repair, Mechanical, Motors, Manufacturing
