Akkodis is seeking a Maintenance Worker I for a Contract job with a client in Ridgefield, NJ . Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting systems like HVAC and boilers, and maintaining high housekeeping standards. Rate Range: $20/hour to $28/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Maintenance Worker I job responsibilities include:
- Monitoring, operating, adjusting, and repairing process-critical equipment and utilities, such as WFI/RO systems, clean steam systems, and HVAC-R systems.
- Performing preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment like boilers, chilled water systems, and air handling systems.
- Reporting alarms or out-of-specification conditions and taking corrective actions as required by SOPs.
- Conducting daily equipment readings and assisting in collecting and reporting monthly energy numbers.
- Maintaining detailed verbal and written communication through shift logs, maintenance logs, and information systems (e.g., Infor EAM).
- Safely handling process chemicals and consumables and supporting the shutdown and isolation of equipment for maintenance activities.
- Ensuring adherence to safety, cGMP, and environmental policies and maintaining high housekeeping standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum GED required.
- At least 3 years of mechanical experience with plant processing knowledge.
- Must hold a high-pressure steam systems license in NJ.
- Strong GMP background with experience in regulations and documentation.
