Maintenance Worker I - City of Reedley California : Job Details

Under direction (Maintenance Worker I), or general supervision (Maintenance Worker II), to perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled duties in the maintenance, repair, and construction of City streets, water, storm, and sewer lines; to use and operate manual tools, and light and moderately heavy power driven equipment; and to perform a variety of maintenance tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS - Maintenance Worker I--This is the entry level in the Maintenance Worker class series. Positions at this level usually perform most of the duties required of the positions at the Maintenance Worker II level, but are not expected to function at the same skill level and usually exercise less independent discretion and judgement in matters related to work procedures and methods.
