Maintenance Worker II (Streets) - City of Temecula California : Job Details

The Public Works Department is hiring a Maintenance Worker II in the Streets Division. The ideal candidate will have a background in asphalt repair, catch basin maintenance, stenciling and graffiti abatement and preferably possess a class A or B California driver's license. General experience in the construction field is necessary. Candidate must have a positive attitude and be able to work well as a team member. Customer service and strong communication skills are necessary as interaction with a variety of people including other outside agencies is common. This position requires a flexible work schedule which includes overtime, rotating weekends, holidays and evenings. DEFINITION - Under general supervision, performs semi-skilled and skilled labor related to the maintenance and repair of City parks, landscaping, streets and buildings.
