In brief summary, the lead maintenance worker will be responsible for overseeing all activities for multiple commercial properties in the Sacramento area as well as scheduling work orders with other team members and working closely with the Regional Account Manager on bidding projects.

LEAD MAINTENANCE WORKER

The Lead Maintenance Worker position requires a hard-working individual who can work effectively in different work-related scenarios.

Seeking someone who is self-sufficient with the ability to be productive and reliable even when management is not present.

SOME DUTIES INCLUDE_____________________________________________________

  • Removal of graffiti
  • Interior and exterior painting
  • Light and ballast replacements
  • Sheetrock repair and patching
  • Vacancy clean outs
  • Ceiling tile replacements
  • Roof and drain cleaning
  • Plumbing
    • Repair leaks
    • Change of fixtures
    • Unclogging backups
  • Vacuuming, dusting, de-webbing
  • Clean & restock restrooms
  • Sweeping, mopping
  • Empty trash receptacles
  • Must be able to use chemical or cleaning solution to perform duties
  • Must have basic computer and technology skills
  • Must be able to type up proposals
  • Will be responsible for routing other Maintenance, Utility and Haulers in the region

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Constant standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head, and reaching forward.
  • Must be able to work outside in the elements.

QUALIFICATIONS_____________________________________________________________

  • Must speak, read, and write in English
  • Previous experience working in the janitorial/maintenance industry is preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management
  • Valid driver's license and clean DMV Report
  • Be accountable and detail oriented
  • Be able to work under pressure and under strict deadlines
  • Great customer service
  • Highly motivated
  • Must be able to text, and email effectively with management
  • Must live in the Sacramento/Roseville area
  • Must have knowledge in bidding small projects
