Job Summary: Under general supervision of the Education and ABA Directors, the Maintenance worker performs semi-skilled building maintenance and repair work. This position requires a working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and minor electrical work. Performing cleaning tasks, operating various types of cleaning equipment to care for and maintain assigned buildings and related facilities, and performing other work-related tasks as required. Duties / Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, wax, and polish floors.
- Dust and polish woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.
- Clean windows and walls.
- Vacuum and spot-clean carpets/upholstery.
- Cleans and maintains supplies in restrooms.
- Empties and cleans waste receptacles.
- Moves, assembles, and arranges furniture/equipment for special meetings or events.
- Picks up trash from grounds.
- Shovels snow, cuts/trims grass using company equipment, and landscapes grounds surrounding facilities.
- Pick up/transport materials as needed.
Minimum Job Requirements: Education/Experience:
- A High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED) AND a minimum of two years janitorial experience (preferred).

Physical Requirement:
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending, stretching, and reaching.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 100 lbs.
