Maintenance Worker - BCRC : Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate could be someone with a strong background in maintenance but is also a great opportunity for someone with general handyman skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires a proactive and team approach to maintaining equipment, facilities, grounds, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs
• Fabricate components as necessary to support repairs or improvements.
• Execute mechanical repairs on various systems and machinery.
• Painting tasks and dry wall repair to maintain aesthetic quality.
• Maintains exterior grounds in a safe and aesthetically pleasing condition at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to foster a safe and productive work environment.

Skills

• General knowledge of HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools in order to complete repairs and maintenance duties
• Forklift certified-preferred not required
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Familiar with OSHA
