Position Type: Maintenance/Custodial/Maintenance General Date Posted: 3/6/2025 Location: Wayne Central School District Date Available: ASAP Closing Date: TBD Probationary Appointment 12 Months 7:00AM - 3:30PM Description of Duties: Performs semi-skilled work in masonry, carpentry, plumbing electrical or painting operations. Assists in cleaning and repairing boilers, pumps. heaters, pipelines, valves and traps. Assists in lawn mowing, athletic field striping and snow removal operations. Requirements: Neat clean appearance, punctual, ability to get along with professional and supportive staff, possess appropriate driver's license. Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift and /or move more than 100 lbs. Frequently required to walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Required knowledge, Skills, and abilities: Semi-skilled in electrical, construction and mechanical tasks. Experience in same or similar position. Possess appropriate driver's license.
