Maintenance Worker - Parks, Recreation, and Maintenance - City of Fayetteville, AR : Job Details

The City of Fayetteville is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Worker to perform semi-skilled and skilled work in the construction, maintenance, repair, custodial and related activities pertaining to building maintenance, parks, solid waste, streets, stormwater maintenance and operations, and transit; to perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Clean, maintain, and repair equipment, roads, alleyways, right-of-ways, streets, open spaces, City cemeteries, parking lots, curbs, sidewalks, and other City facilities. Perform street construction and maintenance activities; dig and maintain ditches; backfill trenches and holes; install storm drainage pipes; participate in curb and sidewalk projects; repair and replace brick pavers.
