Maintenance Worker Supervisor at National Park Service - University of the District of Columbia : Job Details

In this position you will supervise the maintenance of facilities located at Navajo National Monument to include visitor center, campgrounds, comfort stations, housing units, trails, roads and utilities. Work supervised will include a variety of trades such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, associated building trades, trail and road work. You will assist the Facility Manager in planning to include preparation of financial plans, identification of asset deficiencies, and prioritization of work including routine and recurring work, special projects, contracts, and emergency repairs.Develops maintenance safety program to address employee protection and safe work practices, participates in Group safety committee. Applies the best basic health, sanitary, and mechanical principles and practices to ensure proper operation and maintenance of microbiological and physical chemical processes for efficient treatment of well water distribution systems. You must possess and maintain at least a Grade 1 Water Treatment Operator certification.#J-18808-Ljbffr
