To support our mission, we are seeking a Management Analyst I-II to join the Unemployment Insurance Administration and Operational Support (UIA&OS) department to support our team and mission. The position will be located in Austin or one of our facilities in El Paso, Fort Worth, McAllen, or San Antonio. The position is eligible for hybrid remote work environment; combination of telecommuting and participating in on site rotating work schedule. Performs complex to moderately complex (journey-level) professional administrative and policy analysis work. Work involves conducting organizational studies and evaluations, designing systems and procedures, conducting work simplification studies, and preparing operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. May provide guidance to others. Works under general supervisor with limited to moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO:- Lead and guide TeleCenter Systems Analysts on the use of telecommunications equipment and applications, including informal training and orientation.- Collect and analyze data in areas such as workload, staff utilization, or organizational structure and development.- Monitor and review current organizational, procedural, or operational systems for effectiveness, efficiency and conformance to established guidelines.- Consult with management to initiate studies; identify priorities; and define study scope, purpose, objectives, time frames and resource requirements.- Research historical, current, and projected data to identify problems, causes, and areas for which procedural or system changes are indicated.- Research new or improved business and management practices for application to agency programs or operations.- Develop recommendations for improvement and corrective action to standardize or improve organizational systems.- Conduct training on new methods and procedures.- Prepare comprehensive technical records and reports to present and interpret data, identify alternatives, and make and justify recommendations.- Opens, monitors, and escalates service tickets as needed and coordinates with vendors - Contributes to teamwork and communicates effectively to promote an image of IT excellence and customer service.- Perform other duties and completes special projects as assigned.YOU QUALIFY WITH: -Management Analyst I: Six months of full-time experience in management analysis, organizational development, or methods and systems work. Acceptance into a TWC Internship or TWC Apprenticeship will satisfy the minimum qualifications. -Management Analyst II: One year of experience in management analysis, organizational development, or methods and systems work.-Both Level: Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
