THE POSITION
The Company Licensing Division of the Pennsylvania Insurance Department is seeking an energetic Management Technician to join our outstanding team. This role provides administrative and technical support for the Office of Corporate and Financial Regulation (OCFR) to ensure its operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Management Technician, you will act as the Insurance Department liaison between Insurance Companies contacts, the Treasury Department and custodian banks in managing the Department's statutory deposit custodian account. This involves independent preparation and the processing of all documents relating to deposits and inquiries both written and oral received from Insurance companies, the Treasury Department, auditors, and custodian banks. Additional duties include retrieving information from licensing records and appropriately responding to requests from the public and department staff. A thorough knowledge of what is, by statute, public information is essential. You will have the opportunity to provide advice and consultation to current and prospective licensees on procedures and other services provided by the department.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
* Full-time employment.
* Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
* Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
* Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information, or
* Any equivalent combination of experience and training. An Associate's Degree may be substituted for two years of required experience.
Other Requirements:
