Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate records and control reports. Reviews applicable accounting reports and accounts payable register to ensure accuracy.Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required or a minimum of eight years directly related experience required
  • Minimum five years progressive accounts payable experience required
  • Extensive knowledge of accounts payable processes required
  • Minimum two years supervisory experience preferred
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manages day to day activities in the accounts payable functions ensuring controls, policies and guidelines are adhered to at all times.
  • Manages the accounts payable team that code expenses, verify and process invoices and issue payments.
  • Ensures invoices or other financial obligations are processed and paid in a timely manner.
  • Administers policies and procedures of the credit union as it relates to invoice approval, processing and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Ensures timely and accurate preparation of month end accruals and reconciliations.
  • Coordinates with the Budgeting team to ensure transactions align with budget.
  • Coordinates with the accounting manager and financial reporting manager to ensure transactions are properly recorded.
  • Works with business units to research and resolve vendor related issues.
  • Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
  • Manages annual 1099 verification and filing process and raises any related issues to leadership.
  • Provides status updates on key initiatives.
  • Resolves billing and payment issues.
  • Performs all duties inherent in the role of a manager.
  • *Performs other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor.

The good faith range for this position is $91,218 - $114,022 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs.
