Job Description

We are seeking a Manager Channel Development, to report to the Director, Channel Development.

Pay Range: $103,770 -$117,125. This role is eligible for a 15% annual bonus

Key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

•Develop channel strategies, and lead channel business analysis to identify major business-building initiatives and key channel messages for Walmart & Club channels. •Create strategies to optimize performance – best in class assortment, POS, pricing, display, and promotions. •Support development of selling messages and campaigns to the channel and customers, providing direction to help accomplish Channel Sales Drivers. Assist Sales team in planning and preparing for key customer negotiations and the handling of objections of these messages and initiatives.•Act as a liaison between Sales, Omni Shopper Marketing and Marketing for planning as it pertains to merchandising calendar events, new item launches, asset development and media planning•Lead Integrated Commercial Planning process for core channels of responsibility, delivering annual 4P playbooks and national sales meeting channel plans•Work with the Marketing and Sales teams to create revenue growth-driving initiatives•Work with Finance and Pricing teams to develop and enforce pricing guardrails, price/pack/architecture, and promotional planning and ROI. •Lead gap closing initiatives for the channel and develop strategies and tactics to achieve annual plan.•Participate in planning and execution of JBP conversations and key customer meetings•Responsible to achieve financial commitments to the company by leading the efforts of the strategy team to execute go-to-market channel strategies•Partners with RGM & Finance teams to maximize trade investment and oversee the development of trade plans aligned with marketing objectives and channel strategies•Synthesizes customer strategies with brand strategies to maximize results for both customer and company.•Participates in special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Key qualifications include, but are not limited to the following:•Education: Bachelor's Degree•Years of experience: 4+ CPG; 1+ years of sales experience strongly preferred•Able to synthesize data from a variety of sources. •Ability to collaborate with cross functional team and bring different groups on the table•Exceptional Excel & PowerPoint skills •Presentation skills: present data accurately and with credibility •Sales, trade marketing, shopper marketing experience•Syndicated Data (Nielsen/IRI/Numerator) Measures and systems• Interaction with customers and customer managers
