Job Type Full-time Description POSITION SUMMARY The Contract Manager is responsible for the quality improvement and maintenance of the processing, administration and management of all institutional contracts/agreements. This position will build out and implement the new Contract Module of Compliatric to achieve an automated contracting process, necessary approvals, and enforcement of expiration, termination, and renewal notice dates to promote institutional compliance. This position is also responsible for the development of all Standard Operating Procedures, Workflows, and Policies relating to the contracting and contact management processes, to be presented to the SVP, Chief Legal & Governance Officer, the Chief Compliance Officer, and ultimately, the Board of Directors for review, revision (if necessary) and approval. The position is also responsible for conducting all related staff training to promote our culture of accountability and high integrity in everything we do. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS This position reports to Enterprise SVP, Chief Legal & Governance Officer. The Contract Manager position has no direct reports. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Create a comprehensive contract inventory for uploading/integration into Compliatric
  • Identify the tree of fields for the Compliatric module to build-out the reporting possibilities that will enhance compliance with termination, renewal and non-renewal deadlines, types of contract, clinical location for contracted services, etc. to advance internal compliance oversight of contracts, affiliation agreements, service subscriptions, etc.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the enterprise authorized signatory list when having documents executed
  • Ensure the right Enterprise corporation(s) is(are) listed as the party on each contract/agreement
  • Set goals that focus on streamlining contract processes and increase operational efficiency
  • Develop the Compliatric module report structure to track important contract deadlines and deliverables, validating to ensure compliance
  • Act as organizational expert in all contract-related matters
  • Build and implement standardized and collaborative contract management processes
  • Ensure contracts are executed in accordance with organizational policy and compliance
  • Work collaboratively with various departments to ensure that contracts appropriately support organizational objectives
  • Ensure that the Non-Negotiable contract terms are always negotiated for inclusion into each contract, as applicable, educating external contracting parties as to the Why of each such term
  • During pre/post-execution periods, regularly provide contract status updates to all applicable internal organizational stakeholders
  • Catalog and store all new and existing contracts within Compliatric
  • Create and update all relevant contract templates for approval of SVP, Chief Legal and Governance Officer
  • As a primary point of contact for organizational contract needs, lead the contract management process with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Organize and maintain contract-related documents and correspondence in a highly organized fashion
  • Identify efficiency opportunities and drive process improvement changes
  • Implement a structured approach to govern the contract management lifecycle
  • Investigate and report contract disputes and discrepancies to SVP, Chief Legal & Governance Officer immediately and recommend remediation strategies
  • Manage contract modifications and amendments in accordance with applicable policies, SOPs and workflows
  • Collaborate with department leaders in solving problems involving legal or risk management implications
  • Oversee the implementation and optimize utilization of Compliatric for contract management
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor to support the efficient operation of the department
Requirements QUALIFICATIONS
  • Meet The Wright Center for Community Health and its affiliated Enterprise entities' EOS People Analyzer Tool
  • Buy in and experience working in the EOSĀ® model strongly preferred
  • JD with minimum experience of 3 years in transactional work; or a Bachelor's degree in an associated field from an accredited college or university or paralegal certificate, both with a minimum of 8 -10 years experience
